MYYEARBOOK.COM'S INTERNET TRAFFIC INCREASES 70 PERCENT
The Internet's Fastest Growing Social Networking Site Is Picking Up

(NEW HOPE, PA) June 25, 2007 -- myYearbook.com, the fastest growing social network on the Internet and the only one started by 2 high school students, announced today that the site logged a phenomenal 70 percent increase in traffic over the course of just the last month.

According to comScore Media Metrix, the preferred source of Internet audience measurement for advertising agencies, between April and May 2007, myYearbook.com grew from a site with 2.8 million unique monthly visitors to an astounding 4,600,000 unique monthly visitors -- a 70% monthly growth rate.

"It's so exciting to watch myYearbook take off like this, but it's definitely not surprising. My brother Dave and I launched myYearbook.com in our high school and we saw firsthand how quickly word about the site spread through hallways and classrooms," said Catherine Cook, the 17-year-old co-founder of myYearbook.com. "Since our launch, Dave and I have worked hard gathering all of our users' ideas; it isn't surprising that the site is gaining popularity."

"It was a thrill to see the statistics from comscore that demonstrate in public what we all knew to be the case: myYearbook.com is growing like a wildfire," said Geoff Cook, Catherine's brother, first investor and business partner. "The secret to the rapid expansion is how in touch Catherine and Dave are with the membership. Members give them some ideas, and they run it with it and build out something unbelievably cool and word-of-mouth skyrockets."

Other key metrics for the site are up as well.

Total friend requests are up 400% since March and 15,000 new members are signing up everyday -- up from 2,500 in March.

And, of course, more members online means more people with whom to socialize and more sites to see. In April, comscore registered 121,000,000 total page views. By May, that figure leaped to 211,000,000. "Internal Google Analytics numbers reflect even more traffic than that," notes Catherine.

"This public evidence of our success will simply fuel our ability to sign additional marketing partnerships with companies whose products matter to our users, further enhance the myYearbook.com member experience, and give rise to still more growth," explained Geoff Cook.
